The Bissell Centre fundraiser sees five local chefs combining ingredients from the City Market to form a harvest menu bursting with flavour and freshness. The dinner, which costs $150 a ticket, is hosted at Sabor restaurant and includes seafood direct from Iceland, farm-raised pork, beef and bison.

The chefs involved are Bryan Cruz (The Marc), Edgar Gutierrez (Tres Carnales and Rostizado), Brayden Kozak (Three Boars Eatery) Lino Oliviera (Sabor) and  Charla Padilla (Madison’s Grill).

The Bissell Centre is a key non-profit in Edmonton’s inner city, providing supports that range from child and family services to job search and housing help. The centre also feeds 500 to 700 people a day, totalling some 140,000 meals annually.

Special guest chef Pierre Lamielle (co-author and illustrator of the cookbook Alice Eats and a  Top Chef Canada competitor) will also be visiting from Calgary to lend a hand.

Only 70 tickets are available through eventbrite.
